Death/Thrash metal mix (Real drums, LeXTAC...)

Just finished mixing the first version of this song. I didn't have my speakers right now so I had to mix it with headphones. Am I on the right track with this mix? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

Wow man! Great fucking tune!

I think the mix is perfect , save for one thing. The main vocals seems just a touch under the mix. I'd get that to be a little more "in your face", but other than that, I think the sumbitch smokes. Great job!

Thank you! Some of the band members should have pictures. I can ask them. Just to let you know that kick is 100% sample, snare is 80% sample, and toms are all sample. Toms sounded actually really good already as raw but the drummer hit really inconsistently so I had no other choice that replace them.

Drum mics were:

Kick: Samson QKick
Snare Top: SM57
Snare Bottom: Apextone MC-10S
Toms: SM57
Hihat: SM7b
Ride: Apextone Mc-10S
China: Samson dynamic
Overheads: Samson C02
Room: Studioprojects B1 & TSM MT87

Man, this sounds great. Music reminds me of Defleshed. I prefer the earlier version, the newer one sounds a bit thinner to my ears. Good job.

Mix 2 is pretty awesome. Don't like mix 3 at all.

For mix 2, just need a touch of EQ in the 400hz range, it's a little boxy. Other than that, I love it.

Thanks a lot dude! I'm glad you liked it. The guitar chain was TSE808 - Lecto - LeCab2 (with Greg's "ASEM" and Guitarhack's "Grind" impulses - EQ for hipass and lopass.
