The band. Why does it seem liek no one has heard of them? or if they have then they dont like them much. In my opinion probably the most underated death metal band of all time.

Does anyone liek them? know anything interesting about them? i have most of their albums but info on them is a little scarce.

Hmm I did check some song from -Fearless Undead Machines- at myspace. It actually sounded realy good.
Now I want to hear some more.

They have a Voivod influence to quite a few of their songs, which is rare as well. Their albums are kind of hard to find.

Well since I rarely download and it's pretty hard to come across Deceased albums I have only heard Up the Tombstones.. which is pretty awesome. They're in my "Buy if you ever find anything by them"-list.

Deceased cd's are NOT hard to find.

I consider the most difficult thing with Deceased is distinguishing among "real" albums and the tons of compilation records they have:Smug:

"Luck of the corpse" is a true death metal classic. I got too "Supernatural addiction" and "fearless undead machine"

I love their heavy/thrash influences in their old school death metal. King Fowley is a legend!!!

Well, to a certain degree they are. I don't order too much off the Intenet anymore. I like to actually go to record stores, instead of spending too much time on the computer. You see, when you have almost 1500 cd's, the problem becomes that when I go to a record store, I end up finding bands that I like more. So, I end up putting Deceased towards the back of my want list. Maybe hard to find was a bad choice of words, though. It's more like, they're never found used, which is a good thing for Deceased. And, some of the guys at these 2 stores I go to,(I will not ever go into a franchise/chain store) they try to tell me thay'll have to add on an import fee, like I don't know about bandsand the labels, etc... They tried that to me in the past with certain bands. That's when I will go online. It's just that these record stores are disappearing, and it bums me out to see them struggle after putting money into a good idea.

well, you can thank relapse for all the years of never finding the records. if not in store, even the mail order was often off on help. DUMB LABEL, and a waste of a decade+ of our musical life. as for turning up 'used', not sure on that haha

About the last one and the tons of compilations you have. Are all of them approved by the band or anyone was released without your OK?

all are approved by the band, ray at cursed records put 'evil side' out. great guy

soon out an asian cd box set only, the early demo years. has demos, rehersals, lost tapes, and pre-deceased recordings dating back as far as 1984. look for it later this year. it's asian only but i'll have all ordering info, so stay in touch via email king@upthetombstones.com.
