So I'm wondering, since my use of this effect is sparse at best... what elements in a mix do you guys usually use delay on? What elements do you use it on subtly, and on which elements do you use it prominently?

guitar solos, clean guitar, and singing only.... because I don't like reverb on those and deley doesn't muck them up.
