Yeah,the bass on Orchid is great.Some of it gives me a sort of early-Metallica/ Ride the Lightning sort of vibe.But I like the more rough sound of the album.I haven't listened to BWP in a long time,but I know the it pales in comparison to Orchid.I really want to get Morningrise and Still Life,but I can never find them in the places that I look.

BWP is cool. was the first album i got... so that makes kind of a difference... it got me into Opeth

Blackwater was my first Opeth cd,tobviously the easist to find.I dunno,it's an okay cd...but Orchid is far better,IMO.Better lyrics,better bass,hell,even better album art.

BP is amazing! it was my first opeth album....got MAYH and i like it as well....yesterday i heard deliverance for the first time and seriously it was love at first sight...damn amazing....just listen to the end of deliverance (the song...) whao!!

I think "Blind" by CoC was awesome! My guitarist played it for me when it came out, and I was most impressed. Haven't heard much by them sinc,e though.

Also, I agree Brooks...BWP was great!
