a) my flame suit couldn't handle it

b) this thing was engineered and produced by other people
-Drums recorded at a friends studio
-Guitars recorded through Pod/Line6Bogner (not in series, recorded with on or the other)

I simply got my Laptop back with the pro-tools session

edit: the guitars sound REALLY weird. Like they were recorded thru the tube from a vacuum cleaner. and the vocals could be a bit more up front in my opinion

Why would you expect flames? Sounds like you did a good job with what you had to work with. I agree the guitars sound a bit weird but it sounds like a tracking issue. Like a weird mic position or something. No flames from me!

Yeah some of the guitars were difficult to open up freq-wise as they were recorded through a pod, i've queried this before but no response, but its like the pod cuts above and below a certain point... i preferred the bogner head sound myself

the vocals the band asked to bring down from where they were also

theres alot i would love to have done differently, but i wasnt free to see how the tracking was going as i'd been through a bad bought of unnemployment, got this job, and had to do a solid 4 weeks of training, so i missed drum tracking and majority of guitar tracking...

i appreciate honesty and opinions though
