Neal is offended.

Also, Chris, no - I wasn't offended. It did occur to me that perhaps it's because I'm not American, though. Still, the whole tragic event has been rendered as a joke by the response of Joe Public and his Government anyways, taking a more direct route seems more honest to me as a result.

It was funny.

Ok, thanks Derek. I'm more in line with your way of thinking, and just like you I thought it was funny and not offensive.

Will, I was just poking fun at the Billy Milano forum because they're a bunch of flag-waving rednecks. I have no idea if they saw it or said anything about it. In all actuality, I seriously doubt they did.

3,000 people died in the WTC, yet over 60,000,000 died in WW2 all over the globe. There is genocide in Darfur. Americans need to stop feeling sorry for themselves and get over it. It happened, it was a tragedy, move on. Let the Bill O'Reilleys of the world cling on to it and never let it go...meanwhile, we'll move forward.

Indeed. It's a set-piece of terror - memorable and tragic, ergo the reaction. I agree, though, tragedies of equal measure happen almost every week in other parts of the world, many of them preventable if the wealthy nations we're all from (and business!) were not so greedy.
