Hey!
I recently built a new rack for the studio and now I've got more spaces than I've got gear.

I'm just about to order a patchbay to rectify this but the thought struck me that perhaps it would be cool to get a descent EQ and have in the rack as well (could be useful patching that one in the loop of my amps for one thing).

I was initially gonna get the Peavey Q1311 but they dont seem to sell that anymore, has anybody got any other good tips about reasonably priced rack EQ's?

But seriously, buying a cheap HW eq like the peavey q1311 is kinda pointless, stock digital eq's in your daw are probably better, don't add additional noise and are parametric and not graphic.

I'd look into this: http://www.apiaudio.com/5500.html

Totally OT, but thats exactly what I thought when I saw this, Descent was a dos game (pun totally intended) :kickass:

Yeah, I loved that game to death, learning to fly the damn thing could make your brain overload

dbx131 are pretty cheap, but that may be for a reason...they're less than $200 usd new.
