Despite Behavior - Rate the Act 1 please :)

Hello all,

I need some advices on my last mix. it's kind of proggy/instrumental composition. can you tell me what's good, what's wrong, what would you change, how can I do to have a better mix ?

Its really good, can you tell me what you did to the snare, it sounds great!

Only thing I would alter would be the guitars, they get very lost. Some more mids, or just louder in general?

EDIT: Also the piano at the end doesnt sound too great. Very tinny, and sounds quite compressed, and too much reverb. >< Piano is hard to get into a heavy mix right. You might be better off using a different track when the rest of the instruments cut out with less reverb, less EQ and compression. Have a listen to the end of Leper Affinity or about 45 secs into Heir Apparent by Opeth for some nice sounding solo pianos.

so you think I should Level UP the Guitars or just EQing better ?

The snare are Superior2's Roger 14".
I use Waves Rcomp on the Top and Bottom and I EQ with a little lowshelf
