Have you checked out Gospel of the Horns yet? I'm not sure how many times I've brought them up in relevance to D666, but they're really good.

Also, Denouncement Pyre play a really similar style to D666, though they're quite a new band and still only in the stages of releasing demos. Some samples:

Spear of Longinus have more punk influence, at least on their more recent stuff (TYONS). Domni Satnasi is more black metal than D666, but the thrash influence is still clear.

I'm pretty sure that Deströyer 666, in this modern era, sums up the musical and philosophical values of extreme metal moreso than any other band. That, and they KICK FUCKING ASS. They do epic black metal, they do absolutely brutal monstrous death metal, they thrash viciously and relentlessly like Exodus in their prime, and they show signs of being able to put out some damn good speed metal.

Phoenix Rising is one of the best albums I've ever heard, top 20 of all time material.

I like the direction they took with Terror Abraxas, so hopefully we'll see more of that, though I wouldn't be upset if we get some more epic thrashin' black metal

Anyway it kicks arse, and if there are any others like me who are always interested in the D666-offshoot bands, I'll upload a track.

Reminds me a bit of Destroyer's early material, which is obviously more blackened and raw. The riffs arent as epic, but it's still damn good.
