I for one cannot wait for this release.
loved the single of Road Salt that they released for their bid to go to Eurovision and just love the majority of what this band has released to bits

going more with the movie/TV show imaginings that they started with their live DVD release -which is honestly a must buy for any fan

“Road Salt One. Twelve tracks of sweaty gravel, asphalt butterflies, untrodden paths and brave decisions. It will not beg for your liking, it will not make excuses, it will not carry you safely across the dangerous waters. If you don’t pick up its pace it will leave you stranded at the curb of the road. Yes, Road Salt One might indeed be a harsh lover, but if you have the guts to follow it whole-heartedly and dare to surrender to its rhythm, it will take you places you need to visit.”

Road Salt One (also called Ivory) is now done! It is recorded, mixed, mastered and is soon pressed. The artwork has been finalized for both the Regular and Limited edition (see differences below), and the only task remaining right now is the artwork for the vinyl edition (it’s 1976 on steroids, how can we not have an LP version, right?).

They were cool when I saw them with Dream Theater, so I might just have to check out an album for once.

Hopefully it will sound more like the POS I know and love and a bit less like the Linoleum ep which was ok, but nowhere near as good.
From the tracklist, the new album only has 1 of the 5 songs from the ep so fingers crossed.

I have been listening to the old albums again recently and fuck they are a good band.

The Perfect Element, Remedy Lane and BE are pretty flawless.
Entropia, One Hour by the Concrete Lake and Scarsick are great too.

The live DVD is kickass too....

I don't like it.
Still waiting for the sounds of electic guitars.

New song up but to listen to it 'officially' you have to like their Failbook page.
I'm definitely sick of bands forcing popularity metrics through shit like that... so here's a YouTube link instead.

I picked up Road Salt 2 today and it is great.

Even better then Road Salt 1 (despite various opinions).
Has a far more dark rock sound to it with a Western edge. Not meaning country and western but proper Morricone notations to some songs.
