New PoS tune - Sisters + new album teaser

The album isn't what WAS. It's what IS. Daniel said they'd work this album this way. The Linoleum ep gave us a preview. They may change again with their next album . .. provided they be allowed to make one.

NOT every song works.

Some fail miserably.

If you wanted xeroxes of their past work, then YOU weren't paying attention.

Then again, they're stuck in the same position as Queensryche - -ever changing sonically, and not keeping with the mindset the genre wants them to conform to.

Who cares if Daniel said the album is what it is, what it was, or what it should've never been? There's nothing wrong about wanting to hear something closer to that phase of the band's sound. I never said anything about a xerox to the older sound, I just think the style in Remedy Lane and The Perfect Element wasn't as Glenn said, "full of skid marks".

Linoleum is one of the few songs that work, if not the only. NOTHING close to what PoS used to sound like.

Piss on Queensryche! They've milked Operation Mindcrime dry and you call that changing sonically and not keeping with the mindset the genre wants them to conform to? Please!

Actually, what I like about PoS is that they aren't the same from album to album. Each album is its own thing and has to be taken as such.

It is funny about all the love for Remedy Lane, because I didn't like it at first. It took a long time for that album to grow on me. I also find it funny that you think it is similar to The Perfect Element, when part of the reason why it threw me was because it was a departure of sorts. A lot of the aggressive vocals that Daniel did up to then is mostly absent from that album.

I expect that Road Salt One will take some time for me as well, particularly with the very different sound they are going with this one. That being said, I have yet to be disappointed by a PoS album.
