hey guys,
quick question: i'd like to record some tracks with my acoustic guitar (classical, nylon strings) to layer with the clean electric guitar tracks. the thing is, the stuff is tuned to B standard, so regular concert guitar strings don't cut it.
any recommendations as far as nylon strings for detuning (to B) go??
i came across some extra heavy tension strings, would these fit the bill?

moreover, any general acoustic micing tips/techniques?
i was thinking of using a LDC around the 12th fret, angled towards the body, and a sm58 wherever it sounds best, and then pan these hard L/R.....would that do the trick, or am i way off??
thanks!
