Devin Townsend esque epic string synth?

I'm looking for a similar sound to the one at 4:25 on this video:



It's from a Triton, but I'd like to get a similar sound from a soft synth. If you recommend something, I really would like to get an specific preset. I have went through a few my soft synths with a huge sound library without much succes. It's clearly a string patch, but most strings don't sound THAT epic.

man i love those unnatural string sounds, usually prefer it over the "real" sample libraries

if you have the korg legacy collection M1 try the "grand choir" patch and decrease the volume of the choir (making the strings louder that are blended in)

You could try DCAM Synth Squad - Amber is a string synth, and sounds fab.

but i absolutely love the m1
the others are not as good i think
