I'm really digging this band. How did I discover them? They're the band who did the song in the new Gears of War 2 commercial.

It's great discovering cool bands in strange places. Check 'em out Kevin, kinda folk-ish/indie/melancholic rock. They incorporate all kinds of instruments including a theremin, cello, violin, trumpet, piano, and I believe a bouzouki. Strange band, but worth checking out.

That is, unless I'm just behind the times. The album came out in '04, so it's probable everyone has it but me.

they play on the screen every time im cleaning a theater, it's the same song and i think it's gone now but i liked it. it was a little more upbeat than this one.

That's precisely why they chose it for GoW2, imo. I think using Mad World was pure genius with the slowmo sequences of the first one.

Very agreed. Started listening to Mad World due to the commercial actually. Just thought it was a stupid emo pop song before that. Unfortunately it's a good stupid emo pop song

It's actually a Tears For Fears song, but I prefer the cover...has to be the saddest song ever. I love it.
