Diagnose my mix...

Drums are sampled DFH. Guitars are PODxt. Bass is MXR M-80 DI.

Guitar timing is a bit off on the scratch tracks.

My biggest problem right now in this little sample is that the bass just isn't sitting right. It's also kinda all over the placed in terms of dynamics, and no matter how heavily I compress it, it just won't work out.

Mix is not that bad. I don't like drum tracks. Not the sound, bur arangments. Unfortunately it is matter of everbody personal taste.

sound powerfull to me dude, listen to the song now and it has everything I like with this style of music. Not sure what it is about the drums but they seem to be stick out in the mix a bit. Hey, I am new to home recording as well so take what I say with a grain of salt, but as a fan of metal I like it allot and would love to hear it with vocals.

yeah the programming on the drums are awful.....i would do some more arranging
and t sounds like there are vocals in it......im not sure whatd going on ....i hear alot of weird shit going on
