Really? Well I thought I did pretty good for basically zero recording experience and using a POD. Sounds somewhat close to the tone on the real recording through my speakers.

To me it sounds like you used as a backing track the real song and you put two rhythm guitars over and high in the mix.
Not so bad the guitar tone. The mix overall sounds.... ....ììììììììììh. Something like that.

I totally understand man. I actually got the drum/bass backing track as one MP3 and just layered the guitars over it. I guess I should have said "what do you guys think of the guitar tone?", as I know the mix isn't exactly great. Thanks to all who listened!

nope, some friends of mine, i thought they were pretty good: they needed a demo.. i needed experience, so i did this for free in 1 day.
i allready got the job for doing the next demo (paid
) and they want me to be apart of their songwriting stuff.. just help them with writing songs and stuff... so i bet i did pretty well... allthough guitars realy do have ZERO punch and the OH's are to loud in my opinion.. and for some reason i don't realy like the vocals yet (not because of the vocalistv thatis..)
