This chain of skr00ing sounds almost incestuous. I don't know what happened but I'll just take the high road and send Avi his disc.

Avi: I know you said you wanted pop stuff in your email but I don't really listen to pop music and had no real pool of CDs to draw from. Most of the poppy stuff I'd listen to (like When or the 3rd and the Mortal) is stuff that you're probably already into. I just decided to put stuff that I figured you wouldn't be likely to hear otherwise on there. Here's the track list:

Bach performed by Glenn Gould - Fugue in F# from book 2 of the WTC
US Maple - Running from Kabob
Charles Wuorinen - Lepton
King Crimson - Neil and Jack and Me (kinda poppy)
Flying Luttenbachers - Elfmeros
Miles Davis - Black Comedy
Milton Babbitt - Whirled Series
Thoughtstreams - Song in 4/4 and e minor (lies given musical form - pretty crappy. You'll regret having asked for this one.)
Thoughtstreams - To Devour Ovaries (a more representative track)
Thoughtstreams - Gift-Wrapped Crab: Industrial Strength Version (the peak of our abstraction)
Elliot Carter - 1st movement from the sonata for cello and piano
Stick Men - Insatiable (funk/no-wave dance party. I think it's very catchy)
Watchtower - Life Cycles
Z's - Olympics

Hope you like.

cool, sounds a-ok by me. I haven't listened to 3rdATM in awhile, but I am definitely digging When's latest (and everything else Jester puts out pretty much)

I certainly appreciate more 'difficult' music, but mostly just choose not to listen to it
