Yeah, computers can be very frustrating, but remember, it is what allows you to even be able to access the internet, and this site, so don't be too mean to it. But I would suggest running it over with a bulldozer, that usually teaches the computer a lesson. After you do that, it will never slow down on you again. Well, sometimes that doesn't work, so if it doesn't, threaten the computer by telling him you'll have Malmsteen eat him if he doesn't behave.
