We played this venue before with Mortician and Akercocke in October.

As a band, what do you guys think of circumstances like this?

I think it’s funny as fuck. Doesn’t bother me, its stupid as shit when you get a riot, all I request is to have mean security guards ready to kick some ass that ito whoever is getting close to my equipment. Ill give an extra 20$ to have kids get knocked out. They shouldn’t fight on stage, they should keep it in the pit where their friends can help escort their broken bodies out the door to get arrested or recover. I think the band should have stopped playing, they obviously endorse that kind of behavior. I understand the whole sXe thing, and the whole hate edger thing as well (extreme edgers that hate straight edgers), I understand that if a metal head blows smoke in a sXe kids face, he’s going to get jumped, who wouldn’t kick someone’s ass for an intimidation front like that on some ones strong beliefs.

There’s just a fine line and boundary that every one should take when they go to shows, keep it in the pit. If you don’t want to get hurt don’t fuck with anyone or stand near them. I stand by asshole security though, even though they might give me shit sometimes, they help out the bands audience in situations like these.

dude occision had fights like that all the time. i have 2 of them on video.one the whole club ends up out side.the other at a malevolent show you can see 4 or 5 seperate fights at the same time. I dont like it.Idont go to shows for that stupid shit.

I'd rather not see or hear about that shit at shows, it's usually started for stupid fucking reasons.
But there was one at our CD Release show during Obskurity & I couldnt help but to laugh my ass off.
Obskurity didnt stop playing, but the singer did yell a few times "Hey break it up", the fight also wasnt Nearly as big as that one is though.
I think I'd be laughing while playing if that shit happened on stage during one of our sets, but I wouldnt be suprised if everyone stopped. It makes sense.

Diecast ARE total supposters of that behavior, by the way.
Back home they have a huige "Gang" of those motherfuckers referred to as the FSU Crew.
They all say it stands for "Forever Standing United" Crew, but the True meaning is "Fuck Shit Up" Crew.
It's pretty ridiculous.

This post is meant for humor, I don't really condone ass beating. I am actually very still at shows. I go to watch the band rock out. Not to defend myself from wildass motherfuckers.

I've heard fucking Horror Stories about that place.
I dont know how many of these are real, but here's some I've heard over the years.

A Guy was at a Straight Edge show & was drinking a beer outside the place, or some shit like that & these "Hate Edgers" jumped him, beat the shit out him, & carved X X X into his chest w/ a knife.

& here's the worst one of all.

A Pregnant chick stepped outside to have a smoke. These "Hate Edgers" noticed that she was smoking while being pregnant & they once again, jumped her, & beat the shit out of her, thus killing her unborn baby.

Now once again, not sure How Much of That is true, but I've heard those stories a few times over the years about the Utah HxC Militants
