Another new one up - Brighter Than A Thousand Suns.

Very strange sounding and a very heavy riff. Not gonna a put a verdict on it yet till I hear it more.

The chorus is quite catchy. I like the vocal range contrast, but I think Kevin just misses the boat in capturing the richness of Bruce's voice in all the songs I've heard thus far. Nothing matches that 2 inch tape saturation thang that happens with analog recording. Digital recording is useful for many reasons but I am a big fan of analog recording. Guess I'm just a throwback in my recording preferences!

I really like this song, I can't wait to play it; sometimes songs are not about complexity but about fun. Downlold the next bitmap so you can zoom in, and check out the excerpts from Maiden on the reviews; I think this is going to be a good one.

It's their own rating system - instead of stars, they get K's.

KKKKK - Incredible
KKKK - Great
KKK - Fair
KK - Poor
K - Rubbish (though it used to be "bollocks" but since the readership seems to be about 12 nowadays, they changed it.)
