Digital Performer 7.1 anyone?

Just looking into it, looks really cool but it seems impossible to find the manual online. Anyone use this as their primary DAW? I wish I could find some literature on it to find out exactly how all the features work and if it would fit my workflow, the stuff I have seen on the MOTU website looks really appealing, but it might be another Logic 9 fiasco

I cringe when I have to use DP at the studio. The main guy just updated to 7. He's been an avid user and knows all the ins and outs more than I do and he seems to be smitten with it. Though he is having problems when opening old projects, cuz it takes 20 years to rebuild it, and he's encountering some errors. I could be wrong but it doesnt seem too different from the previous version. A few updates but nothing special.

I guess it's one of those things. If you "grew up" on it or have used it for a while, youre used to it like any other DAW but as much time as I spend on it, i still hate it just as much.

I tried it when I switched to Mac but I found it pretty masochistic. Very annoying interface.
The opposite of PT in terms of simplicity and immediacy
