BTW... do you remember Requiem Magazine? I ran that too. I think we were the first to run an Opeth piece before "Orchid" came out. And they got the cover, too. Oh, those were the days.

DigitalMetal is unarguably the best meat-news site out there! And the reviews are totally cool (too much praise sometimes though). What I consider to be the best trait of the site, is that the contributors are "musically aware" - the reviews don't just focus on the music on the terms of heavy meat, but give a broader picture, with interesting and unexpected comparisons and band mentions. Like, who'd expect to see Popol Vuh in an Opeth BWP review ?

I like immature humour quite often also, have you ever been to somethingawful.com? I don't remember his name, but it's like "Cliff Yablowski" He has 100's of pages of people looking stupid, and he makes insulting/funny comments to go with each picture, good for a laugh.
