DiMarzio X2N vs. Megadrive

Right now I have a DiMarzio X2N in the bridge of an ESP/ltd. F400FM. Definatly a cool pickup, but can get a little muddy at times (may be the amp though, its a Marshall MG100DFX combo amp). I've heard much about the Megadrive, and what wondering if anybody had any experience with the Megadrive, or possibly both that and the X2N, and could give possibly a comparison or analysis. I mostly play Thrash in standard tuning, and trying to get a heavy tone (to give you an idea, one of my favorite tones its Sabbats "Dreamweaver" album), but can still have clarity when playing different chords outside of power chords.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Its the marshall .... honestly.

Take your guitar to the store and plug it into a good tube amp, then listen to it. Ill bet $1000 it dont sound muddy.
