DIME amp from DEAN!

I always thought Dimebag had one of the worst guitar tones I'd ever heard personally....

Wow! I can understand that it may not be everyones cup of tea, but one of the worst tones ever? That is a big call!

Being into metal (and especially guitar tones) worst tone ever would imply, no balls, unbearable, fizzy as a badgers badger, not fiting into the mix etc...........
I think it is far from all those. Its not my favourite sound but I never could say its one of the worst Ive heard:)

Well it was designed with help from Dime's tech, but I still agree it's despicable milking of the Dimebag cash-cow...

I wonder how this amp compares to Dimebag's actual Randall rig with all the pedals in front and EQ in the loop etc that he used to use...

Maybe for this'll be just the ticket for those out there who are searcing for something close Dime's tone without having to wait for all the bits of the puzzle to pop up on Ebay

Sounds pretty nice in that video clip but yes, 'tis a bit of a cash in!

33 signature guitars? For fuck's sake.

Not just guitars - also basses and 7 string guitars. Some of the guitars come loaded with EMGs, such as the 7 strings - cool, but obviously not at all what Dime ever used.

It seems like the Hendrix, Cobain, Morrison, Lennon, etc. legacies have been protected from this kind of overt, bloated commercialism (for the most part.) I've never seen anything quite like the chaos of the Dime merchandising, and I don't think it's unusual to feel skeptical about it, especially when you consider how poorly/cheaply made the majority of these products are.

The problem with flooding the market with this much product is that it creates confusion, and distracts from the very legacy it is trying to honor.

I actually boycot dean for the very reason that they are exploiting dime's legacy. It's riddiculous and so obvious that its shameless.
