DIME amp from DEAN!

Not just guitars - also basses and 7 string guitars. Some of the guitars come loaded with EMGs, such as the 7 strings - cool, but obviously not at all what Dime ever used.

It seems like the Hendrix, Cobain, Morrison, Lennon, etc. legacies have been protected from this kind of overt, bloated commercialism (for the most part.) I've never seen anything quite like the chaos of the Dime merchandising, and I don't think it's unusual to feel skeptical about it, especially when you consider how poorly/cheaply made the majority of these products are.

The problem with flooding the market with this much product is that it creates confusion, and distracts from the very legacy it is trying to honor.

Well in all fairness, he was an unbelievable whore for sig models in life, so I guess it stands to reason it'd only get worse in death!

Hahaha marcus! He did bounce around between guitar manufacturers. And went ditched Randall for krank later on. But a seven string? Granted I play seven's exclusively, but still, a dime 7 is retarded, he never played them. God bless America. And socialnumb probably blames the Christians. [if he didn't post that already.] I concur.

Hahaha, yup :D And I'm not only referring to the guitars, but all the fucking pedals and picks and amps and blah blah blah

i think the razorbacks are cool guitars. the seven strings are bad assed!

I imagine so many n00b guitarists will think this amp is super badassed and will buy them right up. the thing that really sucks is that you could only really dial in one sound with these amps, and It would not really suit any other context other than pantera riffs.

even sadder, is that their will be a bunch of fags thinking that this amp sounds great, and that they have crushing tone, when in fact they sound like fucking shit.

sad that some people (usually the most cocky) just will never know what sounds good!

They aren't signature guitars, he designed them. Theres drawings he made with most of these finishes that were shown at namm. I don't see how someone who used Deans and Randalls in the early 80's eventually signing with Washburn/Randall for 15 years after which going back to Dean and finding a new amp company a gear whore. He was also one of the most influential guitarist of the 90's! You can't even begin to compare him to Mustaine/EVH etc. for endwhoresment.

Per the amp, I'd love one. Then I'm not one to shy from having multiple amps, having a pantera rig-in-a-can would be awesome fun. RG100es's and Century 200's don't pop up down here, and this one has all the eq taken care of already, by both the original amp designer and Grady himself! Also cool for nailing things like down, crowbar, white zombie etc. Mid 90's was an absolute haven for kickass metal, it started everything we like today!

Unashamed Dime fanatic. (Seriously, its a cash-in, but also a celebration of a legend, if kids are being exposed to him through this shit then good on 'em. I just fucking hate the owner of Dean.)

I actually boycot dean for the very reason that they are exploiting dime's legacy. It's riddiculous and so obvious that its shameless.

Joe

i boycott them because most of their guitars blow ass to start with...but the dimebagg raping doesn't help, either

Jesus Christ, as if they weren't already cashing in on his name enough.......

Word on the street is that Dean are just finalizing a deal with "just for men" for the exclusive release of Dimebag signature beard dye. I'm growing a beard especially for the Dimeswamp green
