Dime D100 - New Amp From Dean

Now with my Dime Head, Dime 412 Cab, MXR Dime Dist Pedal, Dunlop Dimebag Wah, and Dimebag Razorback I can be just like Dimebag. Wonder what they have left to bring out. That amp does look cool though and its affordable for most players.

You forgot the Krank Krankenstein+ that has the Dime channel.

And they can still make the Digitech Whammy into Dime Whammy

Sorry to go a little OT but wich one of the new Randalls suppose to be the current version of the rh 100es that Dime and Kirk Windstein used??

Love the fact that you immediately knew it was Dimebag BECAUSE of his tone.

this is really important. It was his sound, his choice of expression in his music. For someone to say they don't like it (perfectly acceptable) they have to remember that that's like saying they don't like Dizzie Gillespie's tone, or Miles Davis' tone. Imagine Miles Davis summertime with a Gillespie's tone :hypno: In the same vein, imagine I'm Broken with Vogg's usual tone or for that matter any other tone you consider objectively good seperate from it's music and musician. It's just not gonna be the same expression that was intended at all

Speaking about polish death metal sound I must admit (and I am totaly shure about it) that maybe more then half of the albums produced in HERTZ studio are recorded through transistor WARHEAD amp. Not always the best sound but sometimes it works realy well. So maybe this head will be somehow usable too.. Decapitated was mesa though. ))

From what I know, Decapitated OH was warhead and rectifier. Same for Hate-anaclasis.
But last Vader was Piotr revF. Last Trauma was rectifier and Diezel...

Ugh god, so sick of Dean just using his name to push more products. Makes me fucking sick.

"Dimebag's new signature amp...........so you too can have the power of excessively mid scooped, harsh as fuck tone that doesn't compliment a mix very well" :erk:

Seriously, who the fuck in their right mind would want their guitar to sound like this :

When they can have it sound like this :

Or This, for another example:

I hugely respect Dimebag, and he's an amazing guitarist, no doubt, that changed how metal sounded forever, but I am completely, utterly dumbfounded as to how people ever heard Dimebag's tone as good.
Randy Rhoads is another one of those guys, fucking brilliant player, but god awful tone yet people seem to like it

It's all a matter of taste after all. There's no "right tone" but good or bad players imo

Don't forget:
the Krankenstein
DR Dimebag Signature strings
Dimebag Dimebucker
Some Washburn guitars that I forget the name
[...]
The list could go on (and yep, I hate it, lol)

For the record, I like Dime, I like Pantera, and his tone worked for him.
Dime would probably have tell you it's not in the amp, but in the ballz!

I would love to own one of these amps.. but out of respect to Diamond, i wont ever buy anything from Dean again.
Dean and Dime used to be friends, what a fuckin' douchebag Dean has to be. :erk:

Those Washburn's from Boogie Street Custom is awesome though.. really kickass guitars with some of the most epic finishes i have ever seen.
(But that only applies the customs, definitely not the production series.)

Yep, I've seen one once at Steve's Music Store the finish was indeed amazing, even from quite far away.

As for the Dime amp, the price alone kinda justifies the fact that it's not a high-end amp, but it looks quite decent for a solid state amp to me.
I'd have to try one.
