None of these bands are "better". No band is the "best". It's not a fucking football game, and music isn't a quest for supremacy. They're different, and they all play good, skilled music with different aesthetics and underlying musical and lyrical concepts.

I could show you numerous bands that would blow your fucking mind. That doesn't mean they're better than the bands you already listen to.

I had to erase only one post and edit another, as long as people keep on posting their points of view without insults or direct attacks (a bit of fun it's allowed) fine with me. I am 100% in agreement with this. However most of the 'best thrash bands of all time' treads here are started by people that are not regulars.

I think it's because of the description of this forum that reads underneath the 'Old School' moniker:

"Talk about 80s Metal, Thrash etc"

I do not know how the regulars feel about this. But I would like to.

Yep ofcourse, I just used the "best of thrash bands" thing as an example, I know the topics are way more varied than the description says ... maybe it should be changed since it was written what like 8 or 9 years ago ... old school isnt an exclusive term for '80s metal IMHO ... its like saying F&J's Cuatro album isnt a old school album because it was released in 1992 or 93 ... (cant remember) even tho it is almost 20 years old
