Actually, it was a comic book first, then game, now FINALLY a movie. The movie has been in the works forever.

But on Hellboy, I don't think that really counts as the breakthrough for metal we may have hoped. If there's Dimmu Borgir in that trailer, it's only the nice, pretty symphonic parts of their music. I heard not a single guitar or double bass roll in that trailer.

It looks like an interesting movie, though. I used to be big into comic books, but I never got into Hellboy.

The Aliens are definitely going down, but its going to be amazing watching it happen, i heard some stuff about the movie, and basically it takes place from the point of veiw of a guy that stumbles upon a huge war against the predators and aliens. i guess the aliens invade a planet full of predators and then everyone starts dying. i could have heard wrong, but if not it sounds fucking killer.

That's fucking bad ass...I need to get hold of Predator again, and NIGHTBREED! (which I hear has made into a comic)...Casino is on TV right now too.

Oh yah Cabal, Clive Barker right? I'm reading his books of blood every now and then, he kicks ass at writing, gay or not. I even saw some of Fulci's movies has been made into comics.

Ugh, here's the official Internet Movie Database plot summary, which isn't promising:

"Set in the early 21st century on Earth, Charles Weyland, an industrialist billionaire, leads an archaeological expedition in Antartica. Using thermal imaging satellites, Weyland believes to have discovered the ruins of an ancient pyramid temple that predates the Egyptian and Aztec pyramids buried under the ice. Once inside, the team finds the remains of humans with holes in the rib cage and the remains of facehuggers, meaning that the possibility of the temple being uninhabited is very unlikely. To make matters worse, five teenage Predators are coming to the temple to perform a coming-of-age ritual that involves fighting to the death with the aliens. Soon, it becomes clear that only one species is getting out alive."

I've been a comic book fan for years, but this one just looks like a movie trying to cash in on the success of X-Men and Spiderman. Kudos to Dimmu for landing that spot though, if Death II All was put on a trailer, I'd be happier than a pig in shit, well like a metalhead in money anyway.
