Saw this at Metal-Rules.com:

Norwegian black metallers DIMMU BORGIR beat out hundreds of other bands to land two songs in the trailer of the upcoming movie "Hellboy".

The supernatural action adventure film, which was written and directed by Guillermo Del Toro ("Blade 2") and based on the enormously popular Dark Horse Comics series of the same name, will be released nationally on April 2, 2004.

For more information about the movie go to http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/hellboy, and go to http://www.empiremovies.com/movies/2004/hellboy.shtml to view the trailer.

hehe that dimmu part could have been any movie soundtrack, but non the less nice, but i doubt they will include any harder parts of their music
seems to ba a cool flick though, looking forward to it.

Hhmm...sounds like yet another comic book film, with predictable cheesy plot.

But I may be wrong, and it would be interesting to see how much of a part Dimmu's music actually plays in it! I doubt it has a very big role!

:D

I don't think it's actually going to be in the movie, I think they just used it for the trailer. But if they do, there are some clean-vocal parts done by Vortex in "Progenies of the Great Apocolypse"

Blade II was a really good movie.

Im surprised some of these really dark films, havent used underground metal yet.

I almost shit my pants when I saw a preview for that movie the other night, and heard the beginning of "Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse" start playing! I remembered reading a post on Blabbermouth saying they were going to be on a soundtrack for a movie, but I didn't think I'd hear it in a preview! The movie looked kinda stupid to me, but I'd have to actually see it to make that call.
