I've always though about Dio as one of the best singers in metal ever. I always found his voice full of conviction and passion (even for making myself sing goofy lyrics with no worries at all). I always liked more the Dio-era of Black Sabbath than Ozzy's. He and Dickinson are for me, easily, the best voices that heavy metal has to offer. I still haven't met a SO down to earth guy as Ronnie. He was the nicest and most humble and person from metal I've met ever.
Even I have to recognize that one of the reasons that I love so much the new Wuthering Heights album is the fact that Nils' vocals are really similar to early 80's Dio works. For sure he's breaking into heaven.
