Dio with his bodygard

I had no idea Dio was even 5 feet tall, go figure. I recall seeing some shots of Dio and his ex-wife and she'd tower over him too. Hope he and "Sabbath" play near here when they do tour...

As for the bodyguard...dunno. You know that Dio jumped here in the pool an saved an idiot that was drowning in his hotel? I bet the imbecile doesn't have a clue he was saved by God (pun intended).

I love Dio .and have seen him 8 times live. One of these shows I was right on top of the stage I had not seen him since the 80s so I was all jacked up on adrenaline, they were playing a lot old Dio stuff and Sabbath too. So Ronnie is shacking hands w/ everyone in the front row and here I'm this big ass 6'3''
long haired weight~lifter ( I mean my arms are bigger than RJD's legs ) and like I said I'm a little fired up. So when he shakes my hand I pull him down a little and yell up at him . "YOU FUCKING ROCK DUDE !!!!" Oops ....I came REALLY close to pulling him off the stage. He has never shakin' my hands since. I saw them again same place front of the stage and he shook everyones hand but mine I guess I make him a little nervous , but I can't blame him.
