Discovery Channel

I love watching shows about the following - animals, ufos, mafia, world war II/nazis, atrocities committed by dictators, extravagant weaponry, etc... so yes I love history channel, discovery channel (especially Discovery HD which looks fucking gorgeous) etc...

oh Planet Earth was fucking amazing. jesus. every show made me want to weep and breakdown like the emotional wreck I've been keeping contained for so many years

:erk:

Dirty Jobs, Survivorman, Man Vs Wild, and Mythbusters

I enjoy both Survivorman and Man Vs Wild equally. I give Les Stroud credit for carrying all the camera equipment and shit around, and he eats, it seems, a hell of a lot less than Bear does. But Bear Grylls is pretty awesome. I read his book, The Kid Who Climbed Everest, and it was a pretty awesome read.

and yeah, Mike Rowe is the man.

Not for nothing but there was a story in the newspapers that Bear Grylls faked some if not all his stunts... I wonder if you will like him now or his show  This is one of many on the internet though I had read the story originally in the NY Post newspaper when it broke... my guess is his show won't be "surviving" the rest of the year (pun intended) :

not following any tv show means that one does not watch any specific show/shows on a week to week (or day to day basis). Otherwise I have no idea what you are talking about.

Childrengrinder is being retarded, as usual.

I don't have cable right now, but when I did I would have either the Discovery channel or History channel on almost all the time. Mythbusters is great, my favorite show on either. I don't watch those stupid survival shows though. American Hot Rod is great. The Deadliest Catch is the greatest reality show ever.

I watch the History Channel more than disc chan. History interests me more.

You must LOVE WWII then.

My experience with the History Channel is that you're either watching some bullshit on "esoteric nazism", Hitler's (debunked) secret diaries, or some modern marvels car show hybrid thing.

I saw this one show about ghosts. It was fucking awesome. I usually watch Nova on PBS because all I get now are a few channels. >.>

duh! of course... but if you don't follow any tv show, how can you compaire different channels?

you can't.

so, discovery channel is better than history channel. i can affirm it cuz i follow the discovery channel's shows.

you can't say that history channel is better if you don't follow the history channel's shows to compaire with the discovery channel's shows.
