My drummer was into them alot so I had a bunch of his CD's for awhile. I like them, I really like alot of the riffs and grooves, the guy can sing pretty decent and has his own thing going on. So yeah, I think they have some great tunes.

Disturbed is pretty strange music, with alot of Ha's and yeah's pronounced differently. I just find the music is too electronic for my taste, though I was once into them.

Well...I think Inside The Fire is a ok song,but the other songs I have heard can't stand.I don't like the monkey that sings and don't like their riffs.

Well it not my thing.Everyone has different opinions on music.
If we all had the same opinions, it would be a boring world.

I dont think Disturbed was generic, I think they kinda started abit of a new sound when they began.

I find that vocalist(what ever his name is) to be pretty decent and his monkey accents... cant come up with the word... I'll just say not all that distasteful and far less annoying to me than David Lee Roths little scream he always did during the VanHalen days.

But the riffs and grooves, especially the first couple Disturbed albums were pretty damn kickin and was impressed when I finally sat down and listened to a few borrowed CD's. My buddy a old hardcor Metallica, Megedeth, Testament, Maiden, Priest, Savatage (and others)fan... approved of Disturbed and lent me those CD's... good enough for me to give them a closer listen.

It must be so hard being a youth today when one has to struggle so badly to find a band or music thats acceptable to them. Makes me wonder if thats what it takes to fit in today... as if disliking everything under the sun is the primary culture... must be the radical times
