Spent all day reading tutorials and then I built this from scratch. It's an analogue binaural generator (is also capable of emitting multi-tonal sounds from each channel independantly.) It's a simple program really once you get the basics down. It's all dependant on how crazy you decide to get with it, how much you know about sound in general, and how creative you are. I've got a long ways to go and some math to get back down. Erik, if you want to check this little synth out:
Beware though, you can make some pretty crazy tones (I found myself sick to my stomach earlier.) Also if you want just stereo sound (not independant channels) Just delete a whole side and join the right [*~ 0.1] outlets to the right [dsc~] inlet and same with left to left. That's a very basic synth and a good starting point. I'll definitly be making some crazy shit in the future.
that's awesome. thanks. i will likely check this out further because i like making wacky electronic shit that hurts your ears and stimulates bowel movements.
variabel parabel should already be able to make you poop your pants in glee (?) but alas i would need about 1000 watts worth of PA system to try it out properly
Yeah, there are plenty of apps for frequency straightforward binaural tones and sonic/infrasound things, I'm just learning pure data for the sake of knowledge and boredom, nothing else.
