Yeah I wish I could have waited for the new mini's I have the 2.0 ghz i7 quad core server. But the thing is still faster then my AMD Phenom II 955x in my custom built PC

dudes get the new Mini, this thing is fucking brutal.
i did a multicore benchmark test in Logic and this thing was able to loop all the tracks with just minor problems, which puts it pretty much up there with similar results to the best iMacs and the 8-core Mac Pros. this is serious bang for the buck as far as Macs go.

When my macpro dies, I'm going mac mini server. Things beat the shit out of my pro in terms of power now (I have one of the super early mac pro models, just a 2x dual core intel).
