do you think...

could some folks have as much stimulation in the world and never be able to "think"?

additional factors include how much this individual has been exposed to. If you don't know much, and don't seek more, the little you get will count more then for others.

I would'nt know about being born stupid, but I do think one can be born with different levels of information intake. All infants cannot be born the same, nor will they all experience the same.

And Moosey, isn't that kinda mixing two sides together?

no thanks

being an athiest would mean I at least regard religion in some form, so I claim none of the above

but I'll take a vodka tonic please

Exhibit One:

Exhibit Two:

Clearly you are implying that Christianity is an inferior "dumber" religion than any other belief system you are putting forward. In "exhibit two" you would be implying that all belief systems are equal, which your statement under "exhibit one" where you are implying that Christianity is inferior has shown that you do not believe your own words.

Of course in order to quell the future objections that only a "religion" is a belief system, here is a quick digression: believing in no morals whatsoever, if you choose to try to get out of it that way, can be termed nihilism, which can be looked upon as a "belief system" based on nothing. If you just simply believe that there is no god, gods, or not any supernatural forces at all in the universe you can call this atheism. Atheism is also a "belief system". This argument can be carried on for any philosophy or ideology.

Back to the top: By previously claiming that Christianity is nothing but "stupid", while praising a different point of view, you have contradicted yourself in your second statement where you said that no system of beliefs is "smarter" or "dumber" than the others.

You are full of shit.

quod erat demonstrandum
APPARENTLY YOU WERE UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT I WAS SOBER

the question is, what is the percentage of people capable of coming to quality intelligent conclusions: verbalizing the thought in an intelligent way, while using the presumed learned skill to think analitically....

interesting thread.

the point was totally missed, though. blame it on my bad English, weak intro.
however, it was nice to see/read how you "think"... online.
