I recently grew my fingernails out for a school contest classical piece I have to play, and I was wondering...
Do you personally use your Fingernails, or the Fleshy part of your fingers?
If you grow your nails out, wouldn't that interfere with your tapping? And if you don't grow them out, how do you get such an articulate sound when finger picking?
Just wondering here...
Also, my Middle and Ring finger nails broke off, so Im stuck with my Index and Pinky nails, so playing my piece is going to be wierd.
