Does Halford sound like a galah on Painkiller?

you clown. I was talking about the guitars, saying I prefer the original to the Death version, as it has a 'sharper' sound and is more ear piercing, where as the Death version is more like being hit by a blunt object.

He did sound strange when I first heard that album as I hadnt heard Halford sing before, so the screaming sounded weird, but otherwise, no, not a galah

Sounds more like a rainbow lorikeet to me, but then I'm no bird expert.

I'm not a big fan of Chuck's vocals on TSoP either. Hated them at first, but am used to them now. I wish they'd done another album like Symbolic anyway.....
