No, this board isn't an accurate representation of his fans, I don't think. You'll see a lot of people who don't behave that way, who stay for a short time and then wind up leaving because of the antics. A few who don't fall into the "stupid" or "stalker" category do stick around here, though. Pardon my cynicism, but that has been my observation over time.

I am sure Mikael is a very nice guy, but there's a point where you just have to understand he's a person and such adulation can become really creepy for the person beneath the music.
Plus, such idol worship is not healthy for anyone.
I would like to meet Mikael. But it is the sad fact that he would probably not remember me afterwards, reality bites. I would like to meet him just to say I did.
Perhaps just to tell him I really enjoy his music and he is a great musician.
If for no other reason that just to make the man feel good, that would make me feel good.
But since I am a musician, I know i'm not going to get famous for my art, but I would never really want '#1 fans',
I would rather a small amount of people to whom my work really means something special. Not groupies bragging on a messageboard.
