Dong Open Air

GEXX have fixed prices.....so it doesn't matter if you book months or only a week in advance. I paid 88 EUR this May (one way). You should've asked me. Concerning Sweden I know the ways to get there and back ;)

I don't feel like commenting on your calculation here, don't think it belongs on the board at all actually.
One more thing that occured to me though is that I hope the guy who booked everything also took into consideration that Ryan Air does rather fly from and to Nyköping (which is as much Stockholm as Hahn is Frankfurt) and it takes 80 min by airport coach to get there from the city center of Stockholm (and vice versa of corpse). Just thinking about the connections you mentioned earlier.

Arrrr... Why do I always find out about these things too late *shakes his fist at the cruel fate*

But I supposed I would have been stopped anyway... by age limit I suppose (which has stopped me from being able to go to Finntroll when they get to Gothenburg)

Oh well, I'll just have to keep my eye a few inches further out so I can get news about other Vintersorg concerts, prefferably here in Sweden.

Age limit? The age limit in Germany would have been 16 years...

Well, that would have worked out just fine then... Hrrrm, I'm just not very up to date with the world it seems...
Too late now anyway

the Finntroll concert is at 18 and I'm 17... annoying, me tells yer...

Andreas, Mattias...and the rest of the gang....hope you guys got home safely :)
I did, thanks to Morg who dropped me here 10 min ago. Still can't believe I lost my Focusing Blur longsleeve  ...have to get a new one asap.
You better have a little more time at Summer Breeze in a few weeks - we def. need to drink and chat some more there ;)

Oh and Andreas....I forgot.. but thanks for that Borkies/Novembre promo disc (where the hell did you dig that one out?) - I wanted the Fission album though :p

I think I should get some sleep before I post more crap.

Didn't write the setlist down this time....wouldn't say no if someone posted it ;)
I actually haven't felt hangoverish in a long time - but today is such a day. I should grow up and learn where my limits are :D
Anyway, the weather was really good (sunny even - we didn't have sun the last 6 weeks here...)....but it was only good until the thunderstorm in the evening. Wow. Everybody and everything was soaking wet, bands couldn't play and we even had to clear the tent the stage was in so everything could be set up again (they also had to see if all the tech stuff was still working). I took pics shortly after the thunderstorm but I assume they're all blurry....I'll see and maybe post some.

slowly getting alive again... and no I did not write the set list down either...

I'm glad that the band were still able to play, as it first looked like, the Thunderstorm did such a big damange that no band could play anymore...

I like to thank all those who made it possible that at least three bands were able to play late at night.

And a very special thank to all of Vintersorg, my greatest respect for doing such a long trip, doing a good show under such circumstance and then packing already for the trip home. Hope you have a safe journey home...

Gaunerin, if I understand your message correctly, Vintersorg did play after the thunderstorm? What about the other bands after Insignium? I left the festival during the storm, thinking that it would not go on after that.
it def. didn't look good but I think Delirious was the only band that didn't play anymore.

as suspected, my "after the storm" pics didn't turn out great.

festival (or stage) area when everything was still fine:

and I think this one looks cool:

yeah, it was a great concert at the Dong Festival, also it was really to short! well, it's noones fault but the thunderstorms. I feared that Vintersorg won't play when the storm blew over the area but it was even greater to see Vintersorg playing then!

@ Vintersorg
Thanks for the great show and for taking the time to sign all my CD's and shirts, tack sa mycket! I hope to see you again at the Summer Breeze - Festival, you're music is unbelievable, it moves me every time I listen to it.

okay, I'll tried to remember the playlist, this I think are some of the songs he played but the order is not correct. Maybe someone else knows the ones that I am missing.

1. I forgot
2. A dialogue with the stars
3. A metaphysical drama

A sphere in a sphere - maybe this was the first one ?
För kung och fosterland
Vem styr symmetrin ?
Blindsight Complexity
Ödenmarkens Son
Matrix Odyssey
Universums dunkla alfabet
Till Fjälls
Under Norrskenets Fallande Ljusspel

@ pic
hehe, best atmosphere to look forward to a Vintersorg gig, isnt it? The storm was so huge, I've never seen anything like this!!!! It was armageddon, the great flood and Ragnarok alltogether!

Opening track was "Curtains" if I'm not mistaken. It's a wonder I can still recall anything because up until V started playing I was not in best condition. I think the last beer I had was bad ;)
Wasn't "Ars Memorativa" also in the set..? The rest of the titles look ok to me, no idea about the correct order either though of corpse.
