Are there any DoomSword fanatics out there?

Since I heard "Resound The Horn", I totally freaked out for these guys!
I've seen them only once live (should've seen them twice... ), when they opened for Falconer in Budapest. Those 45mins are easily the best live performance I've ever seen, I've never been that intensely into any other live show I've attended. Too bad they didn't play with Jag Panzer in Milan. The guys from the band are great and they really appreciate the fans...

Deathmaster has one of the strongest voices I've heard. He may not be technically perfect, but he makes that unnoticeable with his passion in interpreting. Too bad he didn't sing the whole first album. This is the kind of music that should be called POWER metal, because it IS the pure power!

Yeah, a good band.
I even saw them live in Milan, with Jag Panzer.
But the bands who impressed me even more are locals, Battle Ram (www.battleram.it) and Raising Fear, awesome stuff, especially Battle Ram!

Call me a Doomsword FANATIC, i dont have a problem with that.
They are super GODZ, probably the best epic metal in the world, since "Hammerheart" or "Twilight Of The Gods". Their combination of Bathory/Candlemass/Manowar is AMAZING. They are one of the few who can capture an absolute EPIC feeling. Deathmaster totally rules, the guy must be a reincarnation of a Viking king. Their 3 albums are all divine, but i prefer their first "Doomsword" and "Let Battle Commence". I have seen them live twice, one in February 2003, and the second February this year (one of the most INTENSE live shows i have ever seen, Deathmaster made the sound of the horn with his mouth OMG OMG)They will re-record the first album, with Deathmaster on vocals, now that will slay everything.

Battleroar are good, but they dont have any epic feeling. They can be better in time.

DoomSword are probably one of the best bands of the last 10 years
They have blended Doom, Power, Viking and Epic Metal to create almost a new genre.

I like BattleRoar as well, they're no DoomSword by any means but they're a good Epic Metal band IMO.

Their official website is as good as if it didn't exist, last time it was updated was in January.

Did you hear that Dark Omen isn't their member anymore?

Deathmaster always wanted to do the re-recording thing. I first heard it a little after "Let Battle Commence" was released. The official website, you mean www.doomsword.com ? They have an awesome unreleased track for downloading there.

I downloaded a couple of tracks and I am impressed. I'm definately going to look into getting more of these guys. Yet another nice find from this board!!!
