The first Down album is awesome. Some great riffs. I hope the new one is great too. Although I have heard samples of some of the songs and I wasn't too impressed...we'll see.

I like Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, and Down but I know what Sadistik is talking about. Its to bad that MOST fans of that kind of music are cavemen. But come on now, CFH kicked so much ass!
I live in New Orleans, and I had to go to 2 stores before I found a copy, and at the last store, they had 2 cd's left. This album has been selling big. Has a very sabbath feel to it, I like it alot, but the Maiden live album!

Down's Nola is a must have cd. god damn... first post I read on the testament side of UM and it's a bunch of narrow minded biased fucks bashing on something they know nothing about. How typical for the internet I know but shit.... on a testament board? go throw yourself down a flight of stairs and then download some of Down's Nola and feel american for once in your cushy assed life.

NOLA is a great disk, not really impressed with II, it seems slowed down/toned down. There are a few songs that I like on it, but NOLA is awesome start to finish.

I like Nola more than II but II has some great moments such as Stained Glass Cross, and thanks for sticking up for dirt, Sadistik pulls his ignorance on everyone, turn and turn about, you, Sadistik are what give people in general a bad name, go back to the hate pit.
I fucking idolize Crowbar, I used to hate them, but it just grew on me, they are so fucking heavy!, Old COC is great too, but if you are going to by any Down cd NOLA is the one!
