I just finished listening to the EP. It is really cool and not what I expected at all. The lead playing is ace and so is the clean playing.

Sometimes the Dejent riffs seem like they don't fit in with the overall vibe of the very melodic leads.

Doing the whole thing in two weeks is really impressive with such high quality of music too.

Really glad you dig it man! I'm trying to find the right balance in terms of my influences and while I do use djent riffs, I'm trying to make them melodic in their own right. Anyhow, thanks man

Well, I use my strat on four of the tracks so you get a load of twang from there. I use the same tone for my 7 string as well and you can get a nice djenty tone with that as well.

No worries man, my main intention is for people to have it for free! I'm really glad you like the EP man. And I love Cosmogenesis, one of my favourite albums and of course, Tosin is an alien from another planet with his mad guitar skills.

I love Guthrie, although my playing is about a million miles away from his and I'd have to practice about 25 hours a day just to get anywhere near as good as he is! I'm glad you spotted that influence, post people go straight for the djent bands!
