Dragonsfire are searching for two new guitarists. This is the headline for todays news. But why? And what will be with Dragonsfire? Is this the end? Will the world stop turning or even heaven come crashing down? The answer for most of these questions is simply: No.
And to answer the question why we can say: That's life! Matthias has, besides his job at Dragonsfire, a family and an every day job. Twenty concerts or even more in one year means not being at home for twenty saturdays a year. Twenty dates that cannot be cancelled or delayed. This is not alway easy when you have got two kids. And you know: When you've booked Dragonsfire you will get Dragonsfire.
And we are looking for two guitarists because Timo is going to leave the band as well. We just want to say that we all have the same goal for the band. But recently it became clear that we did not act in concert for reaching that goal. So we decided to continue on seperate ways. Timo is now free to save the world.
Save the world? What is that nonsense? Well, we want to make clear that we did not have arguments about that. We have some more gigs to play and we will do that together and with all the enthusiasm we always had in the past. Because as always: When you've booked Dragonsfire you will get Dragonsfire.
This is why we are looking for two new guitarists rhythm and lead or the other way round or both. For that we can have a meaty bite even tomorrow.
