Hello everyone!
Drakwald is folk metal band, born in 2010 in Tours (France). Influenced by genres such as death metal and Scandinavian folk, Thibaud, David and Marc created the band, joined quickly by Helen, Sylvain and Bertrand.
Since October 2011, the group performed its first concerts: Tours, Paris, Rennes, Brest ... Forgotten Lands , our first demo, includes 4 titles. The texts of the demo are based on Scandinavian culture as well as fantasy stories such as novels by Robin Hobb and David Gemmell.
With this first recording, the group participates to the M-fest in 2012, showing its effectiveness, combining traditional music and metal. Currently, the group is looking for dates to occur and prepares a future registration for 2013.
