Excellent! Dream Evil are one of my favourite European bands. I'd have paid good money to see them play on their own, so the fact they're supporting Saxon on shows I've already got tickets for is good news for me! Don't worry, nightwar, I'm pretty confident they'll be amazing live.
Just been on Chinchilla's website listening to some sample MP3s and they sound pretty good as well. Can't say I knew any of their material before this, but I'd certainly come across the name a few times.

Nice one, Mmurnau! I will have to check out some Dream Evil stuff on the web.
I wish I saw Biff and the boys play on their last tour - Blaze supported them and I'm a big fan! So I know exactly what you mean! Two for the price of One! Very Cool!
Where are these Dream Evil guys from, anyhow? Europe, I guess?

Yeah, Dream Evil are Swedish. A power metal band, but their mix is much heavier than you would normally associate with power metal bands.
They're online at http://www.dreamevil.se/

Chinchilla I know less of, they seem to be power metal but a bit slower than usual for the genre. I've listened to some samples on their website and they seem okay, I'll be buying some albums of theirs in the next few months for definite.
They're on the web, although much of the content is in German, at http://www.chinchilla.rocks.de/

Nightwar, Blaze did not support Saxon on the last tour in th UK, I think they may have played under them at Bloodstock thats all.

As Pax says in this thread yet more Euro Cheese no British :Spam: :worship:

Yeah as a couple of people pointed out Blaze didn't support Saxon last time (thought maybe I had missed something!), although they were directly under them last Bloodstock.

Last time was, I recall, Nocturnal Rites, Wolf and Evidence One. Evidence One were very rough around the edges but the other two were pretty good.

As you may guess, I LOVE the Euro cheese. Let's hope they bring Helloween for the next tour ;)

Sorry, Chaps - I'm sure that I read somewhere Blaze supported Saxon last time they played at Wolverhampton.
I will check it out but, by the sounds of it, I'm sure I've mixed up an article connected to Bloodstock.
I know where most of you are coming from about the Euro Cheese stuff - but give the supporting guys a chance, eh? Biff and Co tend to get most of their audience over there these days, so that means something!
It would be interesting to find out whether Saxon a major influence on who supports them and stuff. I mean, is the choice of support act soley down to Biff & Co or the promoters, or is it 50/50?
