Many of you lot going next Saturday? Just got tickets today after getting pass out from the wife. Checked out the trains to get there from Cumbria, what a waste of time, so were gonna fly in from Newcastle (posh or what?) Trouble is the train fare from Stanstead is almost as much as the flight!
Anyone heard Falconers new singer yet he,s got a hard act to follow.
Anyways see you there I'll be the one in th Bloodstock shirt. what do ya mean every one will have one on??!!

Myself and Eagle will be attending! Not a clue what we will be wearing! I've heard some sample of the new Falconer stuff and the new guy sounds quite similar to Matthias. I'm waiting to see them live to see if he's anywhere near as good!

Hey Dragonmaiden, I will be joining you and eagle -playing the gooseberry role. Glad you put up with me. :) Don't forget the blanket for the journey back though!
I like the atmosphere at Underworld - just wish there were fewer pillars!!
Looking forward to seeing Shadowkeep - been a while! But, I really hope falconer will be there, they are still advertised as appearing and Eagle has said the new singer is rather good. :)
Be nice to see familiar faces from bloodstock. Aren't we going to some public house for a pre-gig drink? Be good to meet up with other's then....?
Ps And dream evil are awesome - bet they are cool live!!!!!!

Just downloaded a new Falconer song with the new singer from the metal blade site.
And... its good but its more standard sounding than it was with the old singer, the originality has certainly gone. Mathias actually sings a few lines on it and it shows what they are going to miss.
Also posted a message on their site asking if they are still playing Sat. Fingers crossed hopefully not another Hammerfall disaster.

Yes, I'm hoping they're coming over. They were rather good last time they played at The Underworld. Sadly, I'm not expecting them to make it. I'd heard they'd pulled out weeks ago, and there's nothing on their web site about it.

No pre gig drink for me. I'll be rushing back from Santa Pod, having watched many thousands of horsepower at monstrous speed at the UK National Finals, and will only just be back in London in time. Highly recommended... Anyway, if you want to come and say hello, I'll be the one in black. That should narrow it down a bit :)

I'll be there, most probably in Hammerfall or DIO shirt or something! Dream evil will kickass im sure, falconer i haevnt really heard.

It's good to see that some people will even fly!! to get a good slice of power metal!!! dedication to great music:D:D:D

I was/am looking forward to Falconer most of all the bands. It's going to be good to see Shadow Keep again with their new line up and I'm sure Dream Evil will be excellent.

I'll probably be in the World's End from 6:30 onwards and if anyone wants to say 'Hello' just look for a tall good looking guy in a Stormwitch T Shirt and chances are it will be me.

Hey!

Emailed Stefan on old website re camden gig - here is the reply......

Hey.

Yes we will play.

The thing is that our old webmaster is impossible to work with cause you never know if he will update stuff.
There for we will in a couple of days have a new site on (look below).
That is the new official homepage.

Regards
Stefan

Excelllent News :D Makes the 500 mile trip all the more enjoyable

Doors opened at 6PM. Due to a series of mishaps I only arrived at around 9:30PM.

Wanted to see Falconer more than any of the other bands. DreaM Evil were OK, but I wasn't in the mood for cheesy Power Metal. No doubt others had a better time.

doors opened at around 6.45.

Descent. Were crap and I stayed in the bar area.

Shadow Keep. I thought had the best technical sound on the bill. Hopefully they'll start play more frequently now that they seem to have an established line up.

Falconer. I loved them and they played a blinding set although plagued by technical difficulties. Their new stuff sounds very promising - HAIL!!!

Dream Evil. Very enjoyable and excellent crowd interaction. I just wish that as a headlining band they could have played a longer set. But I suppose you can only blame the venue for that.

Dream Evil played an excellent if short set in the surprisingly small Underworld they are a must for Bloodstock 04. It was amazing to see how many Bloodstock/Dragonforce shirts there were last night. Wasnt impressed by Shadowkeep or Descent but Falconer were very good they did the one about the lost crown which made my night.

Descent were poor a real throwback to thatype of band that made thrash die the first time round.
Shadowkeep played good power metal but were spoiled by a poor singer.
Falconer were the band I wanted to see most and were pretty good, they just need to go out and play some more shows to tighten up their act, as was shown by the much more professional Dream Evil who were excellent. Perhaps a full length set next time.
When you live up north and read all these bands playing in London at Camden Underworld you imagine it to be a better venue than it actually is!
One last point when did Robbie Cryer from The Bill become the bass player in Falconer??!!
