When you live up north and read all these bands playing in London at Camden Underworld you imagine it to be a better venue than it actually is!

That goes for venues abroad too. The shithole venue that Nightwish played in New York was way below the standard of venue you'd have expected. Guess this just goes to show how 'underground' metal really is, when a headline spot at a venue in the capital means playing a pokey hole with a capacity of 500 or so.

Nevertheless, Kudos must go out to the promoters at the Underworld for actually pulling some of these bands over. They are doing a grand job of getting some of the European tours which would have avoided the Uk completely a few years back. ... And when you see what it costs to hire some of the larger venues, I think that you'll understand why the Underworld is the venue of choice these days for Power Metal gigs.

bit late, but I was there, came all the way from edinburgh to see them, was quality. not that anyone will remember but I had a black t-shirt on with bright green "nexus" on the back and my name (also in green) "matt"


I prefered dream evil personally, falconer were k-wality too though
