My ears are completely shot and I can't seem to get the punch i want out of this and the deadline is approaching fast.
Anyway, here's a little info on what was used:
Gain Reduction on vocals.
Snare and kick are replaced, toms are blended, overheads are real.
The guitar was some 8 string Ibanez tuned down to F, the bass is in the same octave and seems to be the main culprit of my problems here.
Anyway, let me know what you think of the mix. I'm really struggling with getting the guitars and the high end of the bass sitting well.
