Here are a couple clips from the EP i've been working on recently. I've got the deadline on tuesday so i'm going to need some quick advice on this.

Some info on what we recorded and what i used:
OH-s are real, toms are blended, kick and snare replaced.
Gain reduction on vocals.
Half of the EP was recorded with a 6 string, half with an 8 string.

Let me know what you think of the mix

Sounding pretty cool. Drum sound is pretty generic, but it works in your mix. I´d make the guitars more present - often can´t really tell what´s going on. Great recording though, and nice clean playing! Actually, since i heard The Acacia Strains last record i dig the dark guitar tone vs. the present sounding drums and vocals etc.

Thanks for the comments. I definitely feel you guys on the drums. I brought them down a lot (how much exactly is depending on the part, the breakdowny parts stayed pretty much the same) in the final mixes.

And even though i personally didn't enjoy the mix on the latest Acacia Strain record, Putney was my main reference here.
